The first of our new monthly “Wash n’ Watch” evenings at the Broadway Bubble. Let us entertain you while you do your laundry - and on Wednesday’s dryer’s are free!

We watched FIREFLY: The Tay Fisher Story this month. You help us choose what to watch next month.

Not really though! Natasha took great care of me during our sit down interview today. We’ve been capturing moments in time when big changes are afoot on the HUDSY journey and today was my turn. More to come in the next months…STAY TUNED!

Our first Beyond the Screen event of the year was last night and it was a BLAST! The energy and creativity in the room was stellar and the dance party at the end of the night was amazing. Thanks to all that came out and all that helped make it happen!

I was down and out last week with the nasty stomach bug that's been going around. I don't know about you, but when I'm sick, sometimes I can't find ANYTHING I want to watch! This time, I found myself on HUDSY TV browsing around and watching a bunch of great music videos, docs and more. I hope everyone here stays healthy, but if you find yourself in need of a pick me up, hop on the app and let us keep your company. (Some of the things I watched last week pictured below).

Jesse Brown (HUDSY Co-Founder) and I had a fantastic time last night as guests on Radio Free Rhinecliff's first ever episode of FilmWax Radio with Adam Schartoff! Thanks to Adam, Matty, and Jennifer for the great convo and for the support of HUDSY. Check out the station and keep an eye out for the replay at radiofreerhinecliff.org.

Just got back from the Newburgh Focused event that we co-hosted with MVORE (my goodness to we love MVORE!). Being IN Newburgh, watching films about Newburgh or by Newburgh creators, experiencing super talented dance performances by Newburgh locals, in the incredible Newburgh Public Library? Definitely nothing I've experienced before and the love of the city, it's stories, talent and people was really beautiful. Shout out to Mary Lou from the library (picture speaking here) who gave a warm and touching intro and started the event off strong.

I wear a lot of hats here including the build out of this app, operations, some producing here and there, and whatever else needs to be done to keep this train rolling. I’m a Hudson Valley lifer and have been in the arts community here in a variety of ways as an arts advocate for over 20 years. I just love this place - no matter where I travel, I always come home thinking “my mountains are better” - I know you know the feeling! What’s your favorite part of the Hudson Valley? I’m always looking to find out more about this amazing place we live!
