If you didn’t know Gregory McCollough you would just assume he’s a hoarder! Outside his front lawn of his house are mountains of clothes and shoes. When you walk into his home boxes stacked on boxes. So is Gregory an Hoarder? That’s the furthest from the truth, in fact he has sacrificed his home to help others in need for the past 6 years. In those boxes are socks, blankets, clothes, just the most random things that could be a necessity for someone struggling in life! The meaning behind his Org name “Beyond 4 walls” gave me a totally different perspective of Gregory. Many organization that are doing amazing work do the work that is confined within the 4 walls. Gregory goes beyond that with his organization. If he hears that sally doesn’t have food or blankets, Gregory would personally take sally food and blankets. So he goes “beyond the 4 walls” to help people in need.. This is a short piece that we are working on

We have been filming Jacob Sanchez for almost a year. He’s a 15 years old young man on the path to be the first Puerto Rican to represent the US in the Olympics, out of Newburgh, NY! Yesterday he performed on the national stage in California and took 2nd… Documenting how hard he has been working and all the sacrifice Jacob and his family have made was a testiment to what the world witness lastnite!!!

My role here is outreach, apprentice program, content and commercial work. A little about my history. I grew up in a single parent home in the South Bronx, a place that if you can make it there you can definitely make it anywhere in the world! I started my career in the music industry and then changed gears into filmmaking in my late 20’s. I began exploring the Hudson Valley over 10 years ago and decided to call it home almost 7 years ago when we decided we wanted to raise our daughter Nola here. So we moved to Ulster County, a place that holds so much history and beauty. My passions are filmmaking, playing sports, collecting basketball cards, and being the best father and human I can be.
